Nathan Rijckx died during World War I. In a dark underworld, a strange collector holds his shadow hostage. He'll give Nathan a second chance at life in exchange for ten thousand shadows. Nathan yearns for Sarah, the woman he fell in love with before he died. But when he discovers she has fallen in love with someone else, jealousy clouds his mind and drives him to commit a bitter act with grave consequences.
