After an unpleasant run-in at the beach, teenagers Oscar and Iben are left behind by their friends.

After an argument on the beach, best friends Jasmine and Iben go off in different directions. Jasmine meets up with the girls, while Iben hooks up with Jonas, the boy she is crazy about. Later on, Oscar, a seemingly shy boy, has an unpleasant run-in with Iben. When their friends leave them both behind, one of them makes a friendly gesture, and they soon realize that they are dealing with similar issues. The summer night doesn’t turn out as planned but leads to an experience that might be the beginning of an unexpected relationship.
